FEATURED PROJECTS

Product Development

Design Project

The junior Product Development class teamed up with JES Apparel in Dewitt to design and produce garments for private label brands at Kohl's. Abigail is the designer and team leader for the group Sweet Tooth, producing garments for the Candie's line at Kohl's. The two ensembles selected by JES Apparel walked at the Cazenovia College Fashion Show on April 21st, 2018.

Through her NYC summer internship, Abigail connected with the textile company, P & B Textiles. The wholesale company prints primarily cotton fabric, and their main market is quilting. However, in meeting Abigail, they decided they wanted to venture into apparel. They hired her to design something modern, sophisticated, and marketable with their 100% cotton fabrics. Her design was a elegant twist front dress that can be worn as an adorable sundress, or for women transitioning into pregnancy.

The junior class at Cazenovia College designs and competes for the segment pieces that open the fashion show. Abigail created a piece for the 'stars' segment, which opened the segment and walked in the VIP lounge before the 2018 show.
